Who we are

Kodetank AS is a Norwegian AI and software company in Moss (org. no. 922 973 075). The core of what we do is helping businesses put AI to use in everyday work. We deliberately take on few engagements at a time. That means you get experienced people with time to understand your business properly – not a large consultancy where your project is one of twenty.

What we believe

• Write for people, build for operations: a solution only we understand is a bad solution.
• Honesty about what AI is not suited for: we never recommend AI for AI's sake.
• Data should be able to stay home: on-premise AI is a full alternative, not an exception. That is why we built Lokal KI.
• You own what is built: concept, code and rights – always.

Our own products

We use the same methods on our own products as on our customers'. Among the things we have built:

• Kodetank Lokal KI – document archive with search, questions and PDF tools, where everything stays on your own machine
• Nabotavle – app for Norwegian housing co-operatives
• Kodetank Pulse – free system monitor for macOS
• Securapp – developed for the Norwegian Society for Sea Rescue
• Returapp – simple returns and reuse from the building site, developed for Skarpnes (returapp.no)

Offices

Kodetank AS in Norway is the contracting party and point of contact for all customers. The developers we provide sit in our own offices in Bangkok (Thailand) and Colombo (Sri Lanka) – hand-picked and directed from Norway.
