Data controller

Kodetank AS (org. no. 922 973 075), Moss, Norway, is the controller for personal data processed via this website. Privacy questions can be sent to kontakt@kodetank.no.

E-mail enquiries

When you contact us by e-mail, we process your name, e-mail address and the content of the enquiry in order to reply and follow up any dialogue about services. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in answering enquiries (GDPR art. 6(1)(f)) and, where a service agreement is made, performance of the contract (art. 6(1)(b)). Enquiries are kept while the dialogue is ongoing and thereafter as long as necessary to document a customer relationship.

Visitor statistics and cookies

We use Google Analytics 4 (via Google Tag Manager) to understand how the site is used so we can improve it. The statistics are not used for marketing or advertising. Analytics is not activated until you have given consent in the banner at the bottom of the page. Your choice is stored locally in your browser ("kt_consent") for up to twelve months, and you can change it at any time via the "Cookies" link at the bottom of the page.

• Without consent: no analytics cookies are set. Google Analytics only receives anonymous, cookieless signals (Consent Mode) that cannot be linked to you.
• With consent: Google Analytics sets the cookies _ga and _ga_* (lifetime up to 2 years) to distinguish visits. We record page views, clicks on outbound links, scrolling and similar events.
• Data in Google Analytics is retained for 14 months. IP addresses are not stored in Google Analytics 4.
• The processor is Google Ireland Limited. Google may transfer data to the US; transfers take place under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and Google's standard contractual clauses.
• The legal basis is your consent (GDPR art. 6(1)(a) and the Norwegian Electronic Communications Act).

Other services

The site uses no social media plugins, chat services or advertising networks. Links to external websites (for example our products) lead to services with their own privacy policies.

Your rights

You have the right to access the data we hold about you, and to have it corrected, deleted or restricted. You may object to processing based on legitimate interest, request data portability, and withdraw consent at any time. Contact kontakt@kodetank.no. You may also complain to the Norwegian Data Protection Authority (datatilsynet.no).

Changes

We update this policy when processing changes. The date at the top shows the latest version.
